The Buick Regal headlights are accessible from under the hood of the car. You can replace the bulbs at home if they burn. There is no need to take your Regal to a service center for repair, substantial reduction in costs. The 9006 Buick Regal uses bulbs for low beam and high beam bulbs of 9005. Buy replacement bulbs for your Regal from an auto parts store or Buick dealer.

Instructions

Open the hood of your Buick Regal. Pull the two retaining tabs on each side of the headlight assembly.

Pull the connection wiring harness clear of all headlights. Slide the light assembly forward over the front of the car.

Pull the protective rubber cover on the rear of the headlight bulb. Turn the bulb a quarter turn to the left and pull it off the back of the assembly. Lift the latch of the bulb socket and pull the bulb straight out from the outlet.

Insert the new bulb into the socket until the tab snaps into place. Replace the bulb in the headlight assembly, turning it a quarter turn clockwise to lock in the assembly. Push the protective rubber cover back on the back of the headlight bulb.

Reposition the inner assembly of the headlight mounting area. Push the wiring harness connector assembly until it clicks. Insert the two retaining clips, pressing them firmly in place.

Repeat the process on the light in front if necessary. Close the hood and test your headlights.
